I love your artwork! I really love what you have done with star wars, warhammer and my favorite Xenogears artwork. I hope you keep up the amazing work.

Thank you very much! Just curious, are you referring to the Warhammer: Invasion art I've posted here, or have you seen my work in any of the recent Games Workshop releases? I've got some Warhammer and Warhammer 40K stuff upcoming, but don't know which books to keep an eye out for!

Yes I am referring to both the art you have posted here and in the recent Games Workshop releases, forgive me for not responding earlier. I also want to work as an artist as well like yourself but I am stuck on what school to go to or if it's even worth it to go to one.

No worries! The art school debate is a tough one. I will say that, despite the debt that I have now (which is not nearly as much as others I know) doesn't make me regret going to art school. You can definitely learn a ton online and there are many amazing artists who are basically self-taught. I would just say, if you decide to go that route, don't underestimate the power of social and peer interaction. The work I create is the result of not only me absorbing information and techniques from classes, but from being pushed and encouraged by my peers at school. Not to mention the creative network I graduated with as a result. Having people that actually know and can vouch for you professionally is a HUGE advantage, and I certainly wouldn't be doing what I'm doing without it.

And to give some extra perspective, while I do work full-time as a freelancing artist on a lot of fun fantasy/sci-fi brands, a lot of the real bill-paying work that I do is mostly in the advertising industry - which I don't really post online. But it's also work that I would probably never would have found if it weren't for someone I knew in art school dropping my name to someone else. No matter what you decide, just remember that it's all about people. :)

Thank you for the help, I'll think about it a bit more and look more into it. Again thank you for responding to my message and my question, can't wait to see more of your work. Hope you have a good day.
