The third in my series of Xenogears paintings features the enigmatic, ever knowledgeable Citan Uzuki in conversation with the progenitor of humanity, Emperor Cain.

20"x30" oil on board

I decided not to include Citan's gear in the image because I just don't think it was that important to his character's story; Gears just seem to be mere tools to him. But it's always during his strange conversations with the Emperor that we'd get quick glimpses into his true character, so I wanted to do my interpretation of those moments. Hope you guys enjoy!

Sweet jeebus I haven't got any words for this. This is gorgeous. It's also kind of creepy in a subtle way (can we say, "glasses flare of doom?"), but it's still gorgeous. Outstanding work, and thank you so much for sharing!

The plot always got a little too thick for me to understand during scenes like these in the game haha. At least the first time I played it. :)

The same thing for me. The game came out when i was 11 years old, and as a child i couldnt really grasp the story except that the gears were awesome and the characters are so cool especially, Grahf and Id. I would be willing to buy an ID or Grahf print from you. :D
