This piece for Games Workshop was recently released in the "Mont'ka" book for Warhammer 40K, and features an epic battle between three united Tau armies, Ravenguard, and Cadian forces. Probably the most chaotic, large-scale piece I've ever attempted!

Don't Tau United play in the chinese premier league?
"WE DON"T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR THEIR WEEABOO SHIT!"
"EVACUATE THE CONVENTION WHILE WE CAN STILL SAVE THE CAST MEMBERS!"
"WHAT ABOUT THE CONVENTION GOERS?"
"THEY'RE THE ONE'S COVERING THE LEFT FLANK. THAT'S WHY WE HAVEN'T BEEN OVERWHELMED YET!"
"SERIOUSLY. THEY RANSACKED THE LOCAL ARMORIES AND MILITARY BASES FOR WEAPONS AND WAR MACHINES THE SECOND THEY HEARD THE TAU WERE COMING. APPARENTLY, THERE'S SOME KIND OF FEUD BETWEEN THEM AND THE TAU. NEVER DID A DAY OF EXERCISE BEFORE AND NOW THEY MAY AS WELL ALL BE SPACE MARINES THEMSELVES."
"NEKKO NEKKO NYAH!!!"
(Dont get me wrong, i think the Tau actually have a point on the fraterno good but its all too Damm perfectly depicted. It contrasta too much withe Lore of warhammer 40000)
Anyway, great piece! Maybe they have won already and those imperials in the picture are the last survivors...
The picture does look impressive, and when you know it's the rallying of the troops, everything looks right. They are being assembled and repositioned, so they will form ranks and open organized fire very soon
Keep up the great work!
